Health and Safety Policy

Management of Arthur Electric Inc. is vitally interested in the health & safety of its employees. A major ongoing objective is to protect employees from workplace injury or illness. Arthur Electric Inc. makes every effort to provide a healthy and safe work environment. All supervisors and workers must be dedicated to the objective of reducing the risk of injury and illness. 

As an employer, Arthur Electric Inc. is ultimately responsible for worker health & safety. As president, I am committed to taking every reasonable precaution to protect workers from harm. Legislative requirements will serve as minimum acceptable standards for Arthur Electric Inc.

Supervisors are accountable for the health & safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers follow established safe work practices and procedures. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific work tasks to protect their health & safety.

Every employee, sub-contractor and employee of a sub-contractor must protect his/her own health and safety by following the law, and Arthur Electric Inc.'s safe work practices and procedures. All hazards must be immediately reported to a supervisor.

All parties are expected to consider health & safety in every activity. Commitment to health & safety must form an essential part of this organization from the president to the workers.

Safety Statement

It is the continuing objective of Arthur Electric Inc. to maintain a healthy and safe environment for our employees, our customers, and those in the surrounding communities where we operate.

All supervisors and workers must be dedicated to the continuing objective of reducing injury risk.

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. 

Workers must receive adequate training in their specified tasks to protect their health and safety. Every worker must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the Occupational Health ans Safety Act, applicable regulations and with safe work procedures established by this company and/or its clients. All workers are reminded of their right to refuse to preform unsafe work.

We will continue to implement preventative measures and will insist on improvements to inspection reports, policy reviews and accountability to ensure that our Health and Safety Policy will be implemented.
