Service Tech Shift Coverage
We are currently seeking a full-time licensed Journeyperson Electrician (309A or 442A) to join our Service Team in a Shift Coverage role in the Milton area. The ideal candidate is a reliable, skilled professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Job Requirements Include
But are Not Limited to..

Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and provide technical support for the production line to ensure product efficiency and quality

Provide shift coverage as required to meet client needs.

Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with ESA standards, company policies, and the Ontario Electrical Code.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for safety, invoicing, and client reporting.

Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure quality service delivery and calls to be handed off to next shift appropriately

Maintain up-to-date certifications in Health & Safety, including WHMIS, Working at Heights, and ESA Code updates.LOTO, First Aid, Electrical Awareness an asset
Qualifications / Position Requirements:

Valid 309A Electrical License in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades or Ministry or 442a License

Minimum 3 years of experience in a service or maintenance environment preferred.

Fault finding on electrical systems that include but not limited to Siemens PLC’s, SCADA(WinCC) Systems, AC/DC motors and frequency drives

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Proficient in electrical controls

Proficient in electrical control schematic diagram interpretation

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Comfortable working independently and within a team
environment and with various other trades/contractors

Valid driver’s license and ability to legally work in Canada.

Own a set of tools to perform routine tasks
Schedule:

Full-time, Permanent Position

Hours based on client and shift coverage requirements

Current schedule: Continental 12 Hour shifts 8:00 - 8:00

Week 1: Mon, Tues 12 hours Days / Wednesday, Thursday OFF / Fri-Sunday 12 hours Nights

Week 2: Mon, Tuesday OFF / Wednesday, Thursday 12 hours Days / Fri-Sunday OFF / Repeating alternating

This position is part of the unionized workforce and compensated in accordance with the current collective agreement.

Wage Rate: Starting at $50.48 per hour
