Prepare detailed cost estimates based on proposals, plans, and specifications during the tender period.

Complete accurate quantity takeoffs and maintain organized documentation.

Manage and price multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Evaluate and recommend allowances for indirect costs, design variables, escalation, and contingencies.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure fair and competitive pricing; negotiate as needed.

Participate in turnover and review meetings with the Project Management team, ensuring alignment on all tendered items (e.g., allowances and contingency costs).

Review all final estimate packages with the Chief Estimator to verify accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
Qualifications / Position Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in Canada.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Accubid Anywhere and Live Count is required.

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, oral instructions, and construction schedules.
-
Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code.
Schedule:
-
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

The successful candidate will work in office, with site visits as required based on project demands.

Additional hours may occasionally be required during tender closings.
Compensation and Benefits:

$90,000 - $115,000 annually
